Bhathiya
Bhathiya is the co-founder of Asset.Digital. He is responsible for our technical operations and oversees the team based in Sri Lanka. Before establishing Asset.Digital, Bhathiya studied Business Information Systems and Information Technology at the Middlesex University London, and worked for a web development company in London. In 2006, as a child, he developed his first website. His talent was noticed by the Information and Communication Technology Agency (Sri Lanka) and Prof V. K. Samaranayake. In the same year, he participated in the Sri Lankan TV programme ‘Nanapiyasa’. He spoke about the rise of the Internet and the difficulties of using Sinhalese for web development (12th minute of this YouTube video).
